AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

In-Person Audition Instructions

WHAT TO EXPECT

Sign up for a time and arrive during that time window, i.e., 9:00 to 9:30, etc.
Bring a headshot and resume (no worries if you don’t have one just bring a picture of yourself to attach to the audition form)
Sign-in when you arrive
Fill out the Auditions Form
Review the audition songs & monologues you have chosen to prepare (copies will be provided if needed)
Stretch, relax, warm up your voice (vocal warm-up video)
Auditions will be one-on-one during the time window you signed up for and once you have completed the forms OR the person before you has completed his/her audition.
- If you did not sign up for a time, we will schedule you as soon as there is downtime.

AUDITION MATERIAL

When you audition, you will sing the following audition song.
- I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In
Please prepare and memorize a monologue of your choosing from the characters listed on the audition materials page. *You may be asked to read other scenes from the script in the audition.

AUDITION TIPS

Introduce yourself to the production team in the audition room.
Wear something that makes you feel confident and helps you stand out.
Be prepared. Come with your audition material memorized. Songs must be sung with the accompaniment/performance tracks (without vocals)
Project your voice so you can be heard by all in the audition room.

VIRTUAL AUDITION TIPS

Please stand for your audition and use the material provided in the next section of this webpage below. Music must be sung with the accompaniment/performance tracks (without vocals) provided below.

VIRTUAL AUDITION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

First Slate: State your name, grade, and preferred role to the camera.
Please upload your video to your preferred cloud-based video storage site (YouTube, Google Drive, iCloud, etc), and send a URL with your name by email to ccimpactyouth@gmail.com
