AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

ALL AUDITIONS WILL BE VIRTUAL

Please submit a virtual audition by Friday, February 27th

VIRTUAL AUDITION TIPS

• Make sure your lighting and sound are adequate and that the camera’s field of view has your whole body in the frame.

• Wear something that makes you feel confident and helps you stand out.

• Please stand for your audition and use the material provided in the next section of this webpage below. Music must be sung with the accompaniment/performance tracks (without vocals) provided below.

• Project so we can hear you! 

VIRTUAL AUDITION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. First Slate
Begin your video by clearly stating your name, grade, and preferred role.

2. Video Submission

• Upload your audition video to a cloud-based platform (YouTube, Google Drive, iCloud, etc.).

• Email the video link with your name included, along with the following, to:
  crystalvaroz@impactyouththeatre.org

  • Headshot

  • Resume

  • Completed audition form

AUDITION MATERIAL

• All students must prepare:

  • One memorized monologue

  • One song: Choose from the list below

  Song Choices

  • Oh, the Thinks You Can Think (Cat in the Hat)

  • Notice Me, Horton (Gertrude)

  • Amazing Mayzie (Mayzie)

  • It’s Possible (JoJo)

  • All Alone in the Universe (Horton)

  ➡️ We will need both the song and the monologue in your submission.
